What I Do

This timeline isn't just a list of professional milestones, it's a record of everything that shaped me, both as a human and as an educator. I've always believed that our personal experiences, challenges, hobbies, and small victories matter just as much as our jobs, projects, and technical skills. So here, I document everything I'm proud of. It's a full, honest picture of my journey 🫶🏻.

Ramadan'IA Hackathon

Built GreenLife during the Ramadan'IA Hackathon, a full-stack agri-tech platform designed to help Moroccan farmers make smarter crop decisions. The platform combines FAO GAEZ v4 crop suitability scoring, satellite imagery, real-time weather data (Open-Meteo), and soil pH data (SoilGrids). At the center is an AI advisor powered by Claude Sonnet that speaks Moroccan Darija with voice input and output in Arabic, and can analyze photos and PDFs uploaded by farmers. Also includes an interactive Leaflet.js map, a freemium model with 3 pricing tiers, and was built entirely in 48 hours.

Training of Trainers

Ran the first Training of Trainers at Mindcraft in collaboration with La Cité des Métiers et des Compétences (CMC) Tangier. CMC provided its most motivated students; we delivered a free intensive programme combining technical foundations, pedagogy, classroom observation, and hands-on practice where trainees led their own sessions. Trained 40 candidates, selected the most engaged participants, and deployed them across partner schools. Now supervising their sessions at Alwah School and Groupe Scolaire Al Madaris Al Maghribiya.

1st Place at the NASA Space Apps Challenge - Ben Guerir Event

Won 1st place at the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025 local event at UM6P, Ben Guerir. Led a team of 6 students from Mindcraft. We tackled the Space Weather Challenge with Stellar Quest, an interactive educational platform teaching children about space weather, solar storms, and their real-world impact on satellites, GPS, and communication. Features included multilingual support, dyslexia-friendly fonts, colorblind-safe visuals, simple navigation, mini-games, interactive storytelling, and a completion certificate. We presented as a live roleplay, I played a teacher trying to explain space weather to bored students, then pivoted into the actual pitch. Against a room full of standard slide decks, it landed differently. We didn't finish the full build in time but we won on the idea, the vision, and how we presented it.

Duathlon

Participated in my first duathlon as part of a relay team, completing the running segment (5 km run - 20 km bike - 2 km run). First Scuba Dive

Belyounech. The team lost all the photos and videos, so I have nothing to show for it, just the memory of hovering next to a small octopus, trying not to move so it wouldn't swim away. PADI certification is on the list for when I can afford it.
